In this new episode of "La Voix des Alumni MBS", we meet Nathalie Yserd (MBS 1993) Managing Director of Ecosystème.

Hosted by Maryne Avril (MBS 2019) CEO of Studio Moya, this episode, Nathalie shares her expertise on the circular economy and gives concrete advice to companies to better integrate reparability, recycling and sustainability into their practices.

It reminds us that manufacturers and distributors have a key role to play in transforming the sector, and that these changes are both an environmental necessity and an economic opportunity.

Tips for setting up an efficient circular economy:

1. Designing more durable and repairable products

Consumers are increasingly attentive to the durability of products. A product that breaks down too quickly damages the brand image and drives customers to change brands.

2. Get involved in the recycling and reuse sector

A company that commits to recycling and reuse improves its brand image and reduces its environmental impact.

3. Offer pedagogical tools to facilitate change

Raising customers' awareness of the need for more sustainable consumption requires clear, educational explanations of the alternatives available. It's not enough to simply offer eco-responsible products or services: we also need to educate them about their impact and proper use.

4. Take advantage of subsidies and funding for repair and recycling

The cost of repair is often an obstacle for consumers. Schemes such as the repair bonus help to alleviate this obstacle.

5. Turn the circular economy into a strategic and financial asset

Companies that adopt a sustainable business model reduce their long-term costs and become more competitive.

"You shouldn't see it as a sacrifice, but as an alignment with your values. Working at Ecosystem allows me to have a concrete impact on the environment while applying my skills in strategy and management."
