Amber Allan's in-depth knowledge of training and business comes from over 20 years of experience
working in people development, including with high performers; global, multi-site
companies and one of the world's largest law firms.
She has purchased training courses for many years, giving her invaluable insight into what works (as well as
what doesn't!). She has designed countless talent development programs, conducted hundreds of training sessions
training sessions, coached dozens of talented individuals and solved over and over again the problem of what a
person needs to develop.
Having herself worked at the highest levels and trained many people to board level
responsibility, she understands the business reality of companies and how people development fits into
and supports this.
Amber is the current Head of Learning and Development at Stewarts, and former Head of Learning and Development.
Development for DLA Piper LLP and Ashurst LLP. She has delivered training, coaching and consulting
consulting for companies such as Reynolds Porter Chamberlain, McDonald's, Tesco and the Bernard
Hodes Group and offers a unique perspective and specialist insight.
Amber holds a joint honours degree in French and Greek Studies. She is a member of the Institute of
Continuing Professional Development, affiliated with the Chartered Institute of Professional
Development as well as a working mother of two incredible and wonderful children.
